Elle renforce les droits des personnes sur leurs donn\u00c3\u00a9es, pr\u00c3\u00a9voit une simplification des formalit\u00c3\u00a9s administratives d\u00c3\u00a9claratives et pr\u00c3\u00a9cise les pouvoirs de contr\u00c3\u00b4le et de sanction de la CNIL.<br \/>\nElle est applicable d\u00c3\u00a8s lors qu\u00e2\u20ac\u2122il existe un traitement automatis\u00c3\u00a9 ou un fichier manuel, c\u00e2\u20ac\u2122est-\u00c3\u00a0-dire un fichier informatique ou un fichier \u00c2\u00ab papier \u00c2\u00bb contenant des informations personnelles relatives \u00c3\u00a0 des personnes physiques<\/em>\u00a0\u00bb [&#8230;]<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0<em>Afin de faciliter l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122appropriation de ce droit et son application effective au sein des \u00c3\u00a9tablissements de l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122enseignement sup\u00c3\u00a9rieur, la Conf\u00c3\u00a9rence des Pr\u00c3\u00a9sidents d\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Universit\u00c3\u00a9 (CPU) et la Commission Nationale de l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Informatique et des Libert\u00c3\u00a9s (CNIL) ont concr\u00c3\u00a9tis\u00c3\u00a9, le 25 janvier 2007, leur partenariat en signant une convention qui vise notamment \u00c3\u00a0 promouvoir la nouvelle fonction de \u00c2\u00ab Correspondant Informatique et Libert\u00c3\u00a9s \u00c2\u00bb (CIL).
